According to regulations, the adjustment period on June 11 falls on Sunday, therefore, the time for adjusting gasoline prices will be postponed to the next working day, June 12.
In this management period, the joint ministries decided to keep the price of E5 RON92 gasoline unchanged compared to the current retail price, not higher than VND20,878/liter. RON95 gasoline also remains unchanged, the selling price is not higher than VND22,015/liter.
Meanwhile, the prices of various types of oil were adjusted up and down. Specifically, diesel increased by 85 VND/liter, not higher than 18,028 VND/liter. Kerosene increased by 52 VND/liter, not higher than 17,823 VND/liter.
On the contrary, the price of fuel oil was adjusted down by 164 VND/kg compared to the current retail price, not higher than 14,719 VND/kg.
In this period, the joint ministries set aside a price stabilization fund for E5 RON92 gasoline at VND228/liter (previous period VND300/liter), RON95 gasoline at VND180/liter (previous period VND300/liter); diesel at VND200/liter (previous period VND300/liter); kerosene at VND200/liter (previous period VND300/liter); and fuel oil at VND100/kg (previous period VND300/kg).
At the same time, the management agency does not spend the price stabilization fund on all gasoline and oil products.
Previously, in the adjustment period on June 1, the gasoline price was adjusted up by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 520 VND/liter, the selling price was 22,010 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by 390 VND/liter, to 20,870 VND/liter.
Oil prices were adjusted down. Specifically, diesel prices decreased by VND10/liter, down to VND17,940/liter. Kerosene prices decreased by VND190/liter, down to VND17,770/liter.
In the operating session on June 1, the operating agency did not spend the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund and set aside 300 VND/liter for the Fund for petroleum products.
