Speaking at the award ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son emphasized: Going beyond the framework of a mere professional award, the National Press Award "For the cause of Vietnamese education" has created a prestigious forum on education, with a wide influence. This is not only a place to gather journalists who love, understand and are passionate about the education sector, but also a vivid proof of the press's companionship, supervision and creation in the development of education and training that the sector is deploying and implementing.
The journalistic works submitted to the contest have outlined a comprehensive, vivid and colorful picture of Vietnamese education, with in-depth analysis of both macro policies and guidelines (such as Resolution 71-NQ/TW, Resolution 57-NQ/TW...) and urgent current issues (textbooks, extra teaching, school safety...). Many works have mentioned profound humanistic topics such as mental health and learning opportunities for students in disadvantaged areas. Each article and reportage does not only stop at reflecting but also is a voice of sharing and contributing to building trust and companionship of society. Thereby, the press affirms its role as a companion, a profound critic and a "midwife" for the industry's innovations, helping education policies to be more closely linked to reality, while ensuring that the voices of teachers and students are fully heard and understood.

The Minister also shared: The deep concern of the Party and State for the cause of education and training is consistently demonstrated through major strategic policies, from Resolution 29-NQ/TW on fundamental innovation of education to Conclusion 91-KL/TW on continuing to implement and deploy Resolution 29-NQ/TW and many other related policies. In particular, in order to meet the urgent development requirements of the country, the issuance of Resolution 71-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in education and training development, Resolution 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation has created a strategic lever, providing a strong and substantial driving force for education to become a decisive factor in the future and destiny of the nation.
In particular, Resolution 71 especially emphasizes the need for innovation and change in awareness, vision and thinking about education such as: investment in education, education management and education. This is the decisive factor for the success of the breakthrough in education and training development. In this aspect, press agencies, news agencies and journalists need to participate and support the sector to successfully carry out the tasks assigned by the Party and the State to the education sector, making important contributions to the development of the country in the face of new development requirements.

On this occasion, Minister Nguyen Kim Son sent his thanks to the press agencies and the entire team of journalists, reporters, and editors - those who have loved, devoted their passion, responsibility, and intelligence to accompany the education sector on the journey of innovation and development of the country's education and training.
