IRONMAN race will bring Phu Quoc tourism closer to international visitors

On November 14, the IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc 2025 race was opened in Phu Quoc special zone. The event attracted more than 2,000 athletes from more than 60 countries and territories around the world .

Mr. Le Van Phuoc - Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee - said that the BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc is an international sporting event of great significance in the journey of developing Phu Quoc into a center of tourism - services - sea sports.

The event not only promotes Phu Quoc tourism image, but also strongly promotes local tourism, accommodation, cuisine and services.

"This race truly spreads the spirit of sportsmanship, the will to overcome limits and contributes to building a dynamic, livable and unique Phu Quoc," said Mr. Phuoc.

Athletes will run along the beautiful coastal road in Phu Quoc.

The 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc race has been designed by the organizers to international standards, including: 1.9km swimming; 90km cycling and 21.1km running. The participating athletes will conquer and explore the pearl island paradise with lush green mountains, forests and seas.

In addition, the organizers also organized the Newborns Vietnam Run Out charity run to continue to raise awareness about the infant mortality rate in Vietnam.
