(NLDO) – Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television have taken on the responsibility of reviving three sports tournaments that have made a name for themselves in the arduous yet heroic Eastern region.

Organizing three large-scale sporting events in the same year demonstrates the determination and extraordinary efforts of the staff and reporters of Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television (Dong Nai NRTV).

By announcing the sports tournaments to be held in 2026, DNTV not only affirms its pioneering role in the media field but also has the meaning of promoting the sports movement locally and nationwide.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Nham, Editor-in-Chief of DN NRTV, Head of Organizing Committee, spoke at the announcement ceremony.

The 2026 National Cross Country Mountain Race "Conquering Ba Ra Peak" is scheduled to take place on January 4, 2026, a traditional sporting event to celebrate the anniversary of Phuoc Long's liberation on January 6 every year. After 30 times of organization, the tournament has created prestige in the country's sports community, especially since being recognized as an official event in the national athletics competition system in 2017.

In the 31st edition, the tournament will still be held in Phuoc Long ward, expected to attract many top athletes from across the country such as "athletics queen" Nguyen Thi Oanh, "marathon king" Hoang Nguyen Thanh, Do Quoc Luat, Pham Thi Binh...

Meanwhile, the Dong Nai Marathon – Truong Tuoi Group 2026 Cup Bao and Dong Nai High School, although only held twice, is trusted and highly appreciated by the running community at home and abroad for its scale and organization.

In the third edition, the tournament is expected to take place on November 28 and 29, 2026 in Binh Phuoc and Dong Xoai wards, Dong Nai province. It is expected that the tournament will welcome tens of thousands of athletes competing in the following distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km and 2 km Kids run.

Along with the two exciting races, Dong Nai Newspaper and High School will also organize the "21st Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television Cup Children's Football Tournament in 2026". The tournament is expected to start in June 2026, providing a playground for children who are passionate about football in the province, and at the same time nurturing football talents for the province.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee signed contracts with sponsors for three exciting sports events in 2026, coordinated and co-organized by Dong Nai Newspaper, Radio and Television.
