At the meeting with the Hai Phong City People's Council delegates, voters of the four communes of Ke Sat, Duong An, Binh Giang, and Thuong Hong made recommendations related to site clearance and resettlement arrangements for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.

On the afternoon of July 18, comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front Committee, and several members of the delegation group No. 6 of the City People's Council met with voters in Ke Sat, Duong An, Binh Giang and Thuong Hong communes.

Voters from the four communes raised their opinions focusing on the proposal to invest in and upgrade commune health stations, and equip them with more medical equipment to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people. Hai Phong City needs to focus on building more hospitals and training highly skilled and specialized doctors at the grassroots level to reduce the burden on upper-level hospitals.

Voter Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Giang commune, requested that the site clearance and resettlement area arrangement for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project should be carried out appropriately, with little impact on people's lives.

Currently, the landfills of some villages in Thuong Hong commune are full, affecting the treatment of household waste for households. There is still illegal dumping of waste and construction materials in the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway access road area. Some facilities of Thai Hoa Kindergarten have degraded, and preferential allowances are needed to attract new teachers.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front Committee, responded to voters' petitions.

Voters suggested that Hai Phong City should pay more attention to remote communes, calling for investment in large projects to attract businesses, thereby creating jobs for workers. Pay attention to research and put into production high-yield, high-value crop varieties to form commodity production areas to meet market demand, increasing the value of agricultural production.

Voters suggested speeding up the construction of the new Cay bridge project so that it can be put into use soon to reduce traffic pressure. Plan and build a new administrative center soon to meet the travel and work needs of people in the communes.
