This is a big step forward in administrative procedure reform, helping workers access benefits faster, more conveniently and significantly reducing travel time.
With the current new regulations, employees can submit applications to request benefits such as maternity benefits for employees who terminate their labor contracts, work contracts or quit their jobs before giving birth or adopting a child through surrogacy or adopting a child under 6 months old;
People who have paid voluntary social insurance or have paid both compulsory and voluntary social insurance for 6 months or more within 12 months before giving birth but are not participating in voluntary social insurance.
Resolve occupational accident and disease benefits for employees who quit their jobs; employees who have received one-time occupational accident and disease benefits request to resolve occupational accident and disease benefits due to recurring injuries and illnesses.
Resolve one-time social insurance benefits, resolve pension benefits for voluntary social insurance participants, people reserving social insurance payment period; resolve benefits for employees who are not eligible for pension and are not old enough to receive social retirement benefits.
Resolve the death benefit for relatives of voluntary social insurance participants, people who reserve social insurance payment time;... at any provincial social insurance agency or the most convenient document receiving point, without having to return to the place of permanent residence or the place where they previously participated in social insurance.
The receiving social insurance agency is responsible for receiving and transferring the received documents to the provincial social insurance agency and the competent grassroots social insurance agency for settlement according to decentralization.
Vietnam Social Security encourages people to proactively learn about and use online public services, ensuring that their rights are resolved fully, quickly, and in accordance with the law.
