World oil prices today
World oil prices recorded a sharp decline last week. WTI crude oil was at 82.18 USD/barrel last week, down to 78.60 USD/barrel this weekend. Overall last week, WTI crude oil decreased by 3.58 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 4.3% compared to the previous week.
Brent crude oil was at $85.27/barrel last week, down to $82.58/barrel this weekend. Overall, Brent crude oil fell $2.69/barrel last week, down 3.1% from the previous week.
A long-awaited ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is within reach, Reuters reported. The conflict in Gaza has prompted investors to take a risk premium on oil trading as tensions threaten global supplies.

Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 21, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities currently applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of July 18. Accordingly, the price of E5 RON92 bio-gasoline decreased by 110 VND/liter and RON95 gasoline decreased by 120 VND/liter. Oil products had higher reductions, of which, kerosene decreased by more than 370 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 330 VND/liter and mazut decreased by 110 VND/kg.

Discount prices of petroleum products today, July 21, at some domestic petroleum dealers are as follows:
Pvoil applies discount rates on July 21: Oil discount 1,500 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,450 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter. This discount rate is applied at Pvoil Dinh Vu warehouse, Petec An Hai, Cai Lan warehouse.
Tu Luc Petroleum discounts on July 21 as follows: Oil discount: 1,450 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,400 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter.
MIPEC gasoline discount on July 21: Discount on RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,300 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,200 VND/liter; oil: 1,450 VND/liter
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices next period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. It is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, petroleum prices will continue to decrease sharply.
Since the beginning of the year, since the price adjustment session on January 4, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 13 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 14 times.
