Supervising the implementation of grassroots democracy at 5 educational institutions

DBP - For 3 days (from October 21 to 23), the Supervisory Delegation of the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) led by Comrade Tan Minh Long, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial FLF, supervised a number of public educational institutions in the province on the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level.

During this period, the delegation conducted supervision at 5 schools, including: Hoa Ban Kindergarten, Quai To commune; Tua Chua Primary School, Tua Chua commune; Ang Cang Secondary School, Muong Ang commune; Phan Dinh Giot High School and Dien Bien Medical College.

At the units visited for supervision, the delegation listened to reports and grasped the situation and results of implementing grassroots democracy in schools. Basically, it was noted that in the past time, schools have thoroughly grasped and promptly implemented the Law on Implementing Democracy at Grassroots Level in 2022 and documents guiding its implementation, fully promulgated regulations, and organized conferences of cadres and civil servants in accordance with regulations.

The Supervisory Delegation listened to the report of the Board of Directors of Hoa Ban Kindergarten.

Based on the inspection results, comrade Tan Minh Long highly appreciated the seriousness and responsibility of the schools in implementing democracy at the grassroots level. At the same time, he also pointed out some shortcomings and proposed some solutions to improve the effectiveness of democracy implementation, build a democratic, disciplined, open and transparent educational environment, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education in the locality.

In particular, he suggested that schools continue to listen to opinions from teachers, parents and students; further promote the role of the people's inspection committee in supervising the implementation of policies for cadres and teachers.
