The project is sponsored by Stichting Oxfam Novib in Vietnam, implemented from May 2025 in Dat Mui and Song Doc communes, with the participation and coordination of the University of Economics and Law (UEL), the Institute for Circular Economic Development (ICED), the Institute of International and Comparative Law (IICL) and the Women's Union of Ca Mau province.

The workshop was attended by 80 delegates representing departments, branches, localities, experts, scientists and people.

Speaking at the workshop, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, said that the project has opened up many opportunities for the Union and its partners to carry out activities to raise public awareness, support access to legal information and promote the rational and sustainable use of natural resources. This is an important foundation for the locality to continue expanding implementation in the coming time.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, Vice President of the Women's Union of Ca Mau province, delivered the opening speech and provided an overview of the project implementation coordination work.

During the implementation process, the project has carried out many outstanding activities such as: researching and proposing solutions for managing sand resources and alternative filling materials in the direction of circular economy; organizing training courses, mock trials on circular economy and related legal regulations, with many officials and people participating; building research and teaching materials and developing smart mobile applications to support legal advice for people.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Yen, Deputy Head of the Department of University Training, Hanoi Law University, presented a paper on "Experience in managing and using resources when transitioning to a green economy in other countries and experience for Vietnam".

At the workshop, delegates discussed and evaluated the project results; and made many recommendations on policies, laws and practical models to strengthen natural resource management and promote sustainable livelihoods.

Women members in the project area expressed their desire to continue receiving training and technical support to develop environmentally friendly livelihood models that adapt to climate change.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Vu Nam, Vice Rector of the University of Economics and Law, presented documents and a thank you letter to the Women's Union of Ca Mau province for their support throughout the project implementation process.
