Rodriguez then followed the reporter and a photographer down the street with the machete, a video posted by The Post shows.

Journalists have arrived at Shellyne Rodriguez's apartment to talk about a viral video showing her criticizing anti-abortion protesters on the City University of New York campus.

She allegedly held a machete to the reporter's neck after opening the door, and then chased them after they left.

“Hunter College strongly condemns Shellyne Rodriguez’s unacceptable actions and has taken immediate action,” university spokesman Vince DiMiceli said. “Rodriguez has been relieved of her duties at Hunter College effective immediately and will not return to teaching.”

On his personal website, Rodriguez describes himself as a visual artist, writer, and community organizer who works on “survival strategies against erasure and subjugation.”
