On February 8th, as part of the Spring Book Park program for the Year of the Horse 2026, organized by the Can Tho City Library and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City, an author-work exchange program took place: "Journalist Dang Huynh and his work 'Ancient Traces of Can Tho'".

Author Dang Huynh shares about the book writing process.
Driven by passion and serious research into cultural heritage, the young journalist's footsteps have taken him to almost every place imbued with traces of the past. From the earliest printing house in the Southwest region, "Western Printing House," to ancient houses, communal houses, famous landmarks, legendary stories, and historical figures, the author meticulously records and researches these stories, then recounts them clearly and coherently for everyone to hear, know, and understand more about the culture, history, and people of the capital of the Western region.
"Ancient Traces of Can Tho " is a valuable source of information for researching and understanding the "sediment of time" that has shaped the rich culture of the land and people of Can Tho.
