According to the report, this request was made in the Zalo group of Cluster II - by Mr. D.PH, a teacher at Nguyen Ham Ninh Secondary School - located in Ba Don ward and appointed as Cluster II Leader. The amount of money is said to be a contribution to support 2 people assigned to report on the topic and teach illustrations.

According to discussions between teachers in the group, each person attending the training on December 3 had to pay 100,000 VND to "support" two teachers in conducting the training session.

"100,000 VND is not much, but collecting like that is not right. Training is an activity in the school year plan and has funding. Teachers do not have to pay out of their own pocket. We have never seen training that requires money like this. The educational environment needs to be transparent to avoid setting a precedent" - a teacher told Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.

According to teachers, in previous years and in other subjects, teachers attending training courses did not have to pay any fees. The requirement to pay more has many people questioning its reasonableness and transparency.

The above training session is part of the Music topic plan for cluster II, school year 2025-2026 - deployed based on the official dispatch guiding the school year tasks of the Department of Education and Training (GD-DT) of Quang Tri .

Quang Tho Secondary School, Bac Gianh Ward - was assigned by the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri to organize, prepare facilities and support teachers in conducting demonstration lessons. Participants included leaders of the Music Department of Quang Tri Province, representatives of the Board of Directors of the host school, and music teachers of schools in the cluster.

Speaking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , the leader of Quang Tho Secondary School said that the school was assigned by the Quang Tri Department of Education and Training to be the venue for the training of Cluster II of Music on December 3. However, the school confirmed that it was not aware of the teachers being asked to pay 100,000 VND for "compensation".

"The school only implements the assigned plan, and absolutely has no intention of collecting any additional fees" - the school leader said.

The people assigned to participate in the training include a teacher from Quang Tho Secondary School, Ms. TTTH. and Mr. D.PH - a teacher from Nguyen Ham Ninh Secondary School, who is also the person who announced the money collection.

"According to regulations, funding for teacher training and development is paid from the state budget or other legal sources. Teachers sent for training do not have to pay for it themselves, unless otherwise specified in writing," the school leader affirmed.

Many teachers asked the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri to check and clarify the basis for this money collection to ensure transparency in professional activities.

According to the investigation of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , Professional Cluster II currently has about 35 music teachers from schools in Ba Don town, Quang Trach district (old) and some schools in Bac Trach commune. Because of fear of being re-evaluated, most of the teachers in the Cluster have transferred money according to the notice of Mr. H. to the account named Tran Thi Thanh H.
