Introducing 1,000 OCOP products and the OCOP potential of women's association members in Vinh Long.

On the afternoon of February 9, 2026, at Hoang Lam Monument Park, An Hoi Ward, the Women's Union of Vinh Long Province held the opening ceremony of the "Exhibition, Introduction and Sale of OCOP Products and OCOP Potential Products for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026" as part of the activities celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival.

On the afternoon of February 9, 2026, at Hoang Lam Monument Park, An Hoi Ward, the Women's Union of Vinh Long Province held the opening ceremony of the "Exhibition, Introduction and Sale of OCOP Products and OCOP Potential Products for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026" as part of the activities celebrating the Party and the Spring Festival.

Attending the event was Comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Chairperson of the Provincial Women's Union.

Attendees participate in the opening ceremony with a fireworks display.

The program showcased, introduced, and created a vibrant trading space with over 120 OCOP and potential OCOP products, totaling more than 1,000 items, mainly in categories such as: processed foods, agricultural products, handicrafts, Tet gifts, etc. All displayed products were guaranteed to be of high quality, safe, and have clear origins.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thoa, President of the Provincial Women's Union, this activity not only contributes to promoting characteristic products with rich traditional values ​​produced by female members, but also serves as a bridge to promote trade, creating conditions for OCOP producers to expand markets, connect consumption, and develop sustainable production and business. Through this, it provides practical support for the women's entrepreneurship movement, develops family economies , and contributes to the socio-economic development of the province.

Ornamental plants grown by female members of the association are also showcased and sold at Hoang Lam Monument Park.

According to the Organizing Committee, the event, which took place over five days from February 9th to 13th (corresponding to the 22nd to 26th of the 12th lunar month), contributed to meeting the Tet shopping needs of the people; strongly spreading the spirit of "Spring of Connection - Tet of Love," and affirming the role of women in local economic development.
