The exhibition introduces to the public the unique historical, architectural and educational values of the special national relic of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam - the highest educational center of Vietnam during the monarchy, the origin of the tradition of studiousness, respect for teachers and the spirit of lifelong learning of the nation.
Through a system of selected paintings, photos, documents and artifacts, the exhibition comprehensively introduces the relic with typical works such as Khue Van Cac, Dai Trung gate, Bai Duong house, and Doctor's stele garden - a world documentary heritage recognized by UNESCO.
The exhibition space is divided into many topics: Overview of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam; typical architectural works; famous people and Vietnamese tradition of examinations; Doctoral steles - World documentary heritage; foreign affairs activities, heritage education, scientific seminars; exhibition activities, workshops and night tours of the Temple of Literature.

The exhibition is elaborately designed, combining panels, large-scale photos, backdrops and decorations inspired by the image of gongs - a typical cultural symbol of the Central Highlands, creating a unique harmony between the heritage of Thang Long - Hanoi and the cultural space of the great Dak Lak, bringing a vivid and close experience to the public.
In addition to the display, the exhibition also has attractive heritage experience activities such as: Learning about the old classroom of Confucian scholars; practicing writing ancient Chinese characters, printing woodblocks of Doctorate steles; exploring Confucian scholars' textbooks and experiencing bookbinding with Do paper using traditional methods.

The organization of the exhibition at Dak Lak Museum not only contributes to celebrating Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, but is also a meaningful activity in enhancing cultural exchange between two lands rich in identity - Thang Long and the Central Highlands, spreading the spirit of studiousness, respecting teachers, honoring knowledge and connecting the heritage of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam with the ethnic communities of the Central Highlands.
