Introducing Mr. Le Minh Tri as a candidate for the 16th National Assembly.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - Voters at the Central Internal Affairs Commission unanimously nominated Mr. Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, to run for election as a representative to the 16th National Assembly.

On January 14th, the Central Internal Affairs Commission held a voter conference to introduce candidates for the 16th National Assembly, term 2026-2031.

Delegates at the conference heard presentations on regulations related to the standards for National Assembly deputies; and were also informed about the process and procedures for nominating candidates for the 2026-2031 National Assembly term.

After hearing his brief biography, voters unanimously affirmed that Mr. Le Minh Tri is an official with strong political qualities, comprehensive work capabilities, and sufficient qualifications, standards, and prestige to run for election as a representative to the 16th National Assembly.

Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Đình Trạc highly praised the political acumen, firm stance, unwavering viewpoints, and sense of responsibility of Deputy Head of the Standing Committee Lê Minh Trí.

According to him, having held many positions, Mr. Tri has always demonstrated himself to be an intelligent, diligent, dedicated, decisive, and resolute official, excelling in the tasks assigned to him; possessing a scientific and thorough leadership method, practicing what he preaches, and promptly addressing difficulties and obstacles in practice.

The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission emphasized that Le Minh Tri has the ability to unite and rally the team of officials and civil servants; and to effectively organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws in the areas assigned to him.

As a member of the National Assembly in the 14th and 15th terms, Mr. Tri also made many important contributions, especially in the work of drafting and implementing laws.

Furthermore, Mr. Le Minh Tri has always maintained his integrity and moral character; he leads a healthy, simple, honest, and humble life; he is thrifty, honest, upright, and selfless; he has earned high prestige within the agency and is trusted and respected by cadres and Party members, making him a worthy representative in the 16th National Assembly.

Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Le Minh Tri, expressed his gratitude for the trust and support of the leaders and voters of the agency, who nominated him to run for re-election as a representative in the 16th National Assembly.

"This is not only an honor but, first and foremost, a political responsibility to the Party, the State, and voters nationwide," said Mr. Le Minh Tri.

Throughout his participation in the National Assembly, he consistently fulfilled his responsibilities as a National Assembly representative in engaging with constituents; he regularly listened to, absorbed, and promptly conveyed the legitimate opinions and aspirations of voters.

At the same time, during parliamentary oversight and questioning sessions, in his capacity as the head of the sector—formerly the Supreme People's Procuracy and the Supreme People's Court—Mr. Le Minh Tri always proactively considered and handled matters within his authority, ensuring the successful completion of his duties as both a National Assembly representative and the head of the agency he was assigned to oversee.
