Ta Khang Thien (born 1998) is known by his stage name Thien Long. He pursues pop and ballad music, a youthful musical style that suits the tastes of young people. In the semi-finals, Khang Thien chose to perform two songs, "Nhung ke mong mo", a composition by Nguyen Bao Trong, and "Chi Pheo" by Bui Cong Nam. He not only conquered the audience with his rich and calm performing experience, but also showed his diverse transformations.

Also choosing light music, Bui Cuong Phong (born 2003)'s (unclearly a misreading of the title) is youthfulness and romance. Bringing to the semi-final round the song "P.S. I Love You", composed by Pham Toan Thang and Gold, composed by Duy Khang, from soulful to vibrant, Bui Cuong Phong "handled" it all beautifully. Closing the semi-final round, the contestant from the Central University of Art Education received a very high score from the judges.
Perhaps, what the audience enjoyed when enjoying Cuong Phong's performance was the youthfulness and emotion. Listening to Cuong Phong sing, watching Cuong Phong perform, many U40, U50 audiences must have felt younger because of the fresh, enthusiastic energy of this contestant, making the atmosphere of the entire S8 studio, Quang Ninh Radio and Television Newspaper become more bustling and vibrant than ever.

In the light music genre, Nguyen Khanh Huyen (born 2004), from the Central University of Art Education, brought two contrasting styles. Sharing about the two songs in the semi-final night on November 8, Khanh Huyen said: "With In "Ve Mua" , I wanted to bring deep emotions in love, while "Liar", a Pop R&B song, is more personal and also more challenging. The song is not only more technically difficult but also requires a balance between technique and emotion when performing."

Revealing about her performance in the final night, Huyen said she will bring more unique songs, with her own personal color, both innocent and cheerful, but also mysterious.
Make your mark
Nguyen Hoang Bao Ngoc (born 2007), the youngest contestant in the contest, surprised the audience with her stage presence and emotional performance style. Performing since the age of 3 and standing on the big stage when she was still in elementary school, during the process of pursuing her passion for singing, Bao Ngoc has won many awards such as "Golden Nightingale of Quang Ninh", Champion of "Green Melody" 2024... Coming to the Voice Contest on Quang Ninh High School, the young girl continued to mature, convincing the judges with her powerful voice and confident performance style.
Bao Ngoc said: “My voice is bright, so if I don’t know how to control it, it will be too loud. During the training process for the competition, my instructors accompanied me and trained me to improve my skills. Besides, with a familiar song like Mai dinh lang bien , Ha Long Band has a new arrangement, helping me to refresh this famous song.”

Sharing about the favorite song in the semi-final night, selected to be posted on the fanpage of Quang Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television is Son, Bao Ngoc said she chose this song to spread to the audience, especially her relatives, friends, and supporters. At the same time, "the song's energy is very suitable for my personality."
Choosing to pursue contemporary folklore, Bao Ngoc hopes to spread love for Vietnamese culture and aspires to bring traditional culture closer to young audiences in contemporary life.

In the chamber music category, contestant No. 14, Nguyen Van Thi, was highly appreciated for his solid vocal technique, stable performance, and mature performance emotions. The contestant from the Vietnam National Academy of Music had the highest average score in the semi-final round of the competition. Thi's two songs "Tre Viet Nam" and "Cam on me" concluded the emotional journey for the two semi-final rounds. Immersed in the song "Cam on me", after finishing the performance, Thi could not help but be moved. "The song Cam on me contains the deep love of a child for his parents. When I put myself in that emotion, I really sympathized and was moved. Until now, even though the semi-final night has ended, that echo still makes me choke up."

Thi said that before performing any song, he always carefully researches the context and meaning of the work to be able to fully convey emotions to the audience. Contestants from the Vietnam National Academy of Music often choose songs with themes that connect and are consistent between the rounds. In the semi-finals, the central image is the mother. “ Vietnamese Bamboo reminds one of mother through the image of a simple carrying pole, a symbol of hard work, protection and sacrifice. Therefore, this song extends the emotional flow with Thank you, Mom ,” Thi shared. In the final night, Thi revealed that she will aim for the image of a soldier, symbolizing courage, resilience and the gratitude of today’s generation to the heroic martyrs.
The 10 contestants of the Final Night have started a new training cycle with the determination to bring the best performances. For the contestants, the Voice Contest on Quang Ninh Radio and Television is not only an opportunity to conquer the title but also a journey to practice, learn and express their own color and personality in art.
