In particular, the ceremony also had the online participation of about 100 connecting points including domestic localities, Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and Vietnamese associations abroad.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang reviewed the results achieved after two years of implementing the Project on Vietnamese Language Honor Day in the overseas Vietnamese community. In recent times, response activities have taken place enthusiastically in many diverse forms, with the active participation of domestic and local agencies and a large number of overseas Vietnamese around the world .

With the spirit of "Preserving the Vietnamese language, preserving the Vietnamese soul", the Deputy Minister called on the overseas Vietnamese community, organizations and individuals to join hands to preserve and promote the Vietnamese language. Using Vietnamese not only in the family but also in the learning, working and international exchange environment will contribute to preserving the national cultural identity.

Representing overseas Vietnamese, Ms. Tran Hong Van, Vietnamese Language Ambassador 2023, shared that helping overseas Vietnamese children speak Vietnamese, love Vietnamese culture and help them connect with their national roots will help them build a solid foundation to shine anywhere in the world. She also emphasized that maintaining the language and culture for the young generation of Vietnamese in Australia and other countries around the world requires the efforts of all parties involved.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Nguyen Manh Dong officially announced the 2025 Contest for Searching for Vietnamese Ambassadors Abroad. In response to the Vietnamese Language Honor Day, on this occasion, the Foreign Television Department, Vietnam Television (VTV4) introduces the programs "Vietnamese is not difficult" and "Happy with Vietnamese". These are programs that help Vietnamese people living far from home, especially the young generation, learn and use Vietnamese more easily and vividly.

The Center for Vietnamese Studies and Cay Tre Vietnamese Language School (Japan) launched the contest "Vietnamese speech contest, drawing, learning about the homeland of Vietnam" and launched the Vietnamese Bookshelf built by the community. This is a useful playground, helping the Vietnamese community in Japan, especially the younger generation, to connect more with the culture and language of their homeland, while creating conditions for them to naturally improve their Vietnamese.

Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and delegates pressed the button to launch the program "Wonderful Vietnamese" jointly produced by VTV4 and the Vietnam Education Publishing House. The program will be broadcast on VTV4 from April 2025 and on digital platforms. The program is expected to become a link to connect, preserve, consolidate and develop the language and cultural identity of the Vietnamese people, arousing love for the homeland and country for Vietnamese children around the world.
