The 25-year-old beauty said she is facing an increasingly violent wave of online violence, but that only makes her stronger. She stressed that she will “not give up the crown”.
In an interview with Telemundo, the new beauty queen affirmed: “Of course I deserve this crown. I tried my best like all the other contestants. We went through the same challenge and I was the winner. Why should I give up something I tried so hard for and did so well?”
The beauty also said she was hurt when she and her family became the target of attacks, but would not give up her role as Miss Universe because of public pressure.

“When the truth is clear, you don’t need to defend yourself. However, when you have a voice, it is important to use it. I can confirm that everything people say about me is untrue,” she added.
Despite mixed reactions, Fátima Bosch's personal Instagram page has grown rapidly, recording more than 2 million followers after only one week of being crowned, currently reaching 3.5 million followers.
