The wave of protests grew even stronger when some contestants and judges of Miss Universe 2025 spoke out to denounce the "negativity" surrounding the contest, indirectly pointing the finger at Fátima Bosch.

The 25-year-old beauty said she is facing an increasingly violent wave of online violence, but that only makes her stronger. She stressed that she will “not give up the crown”.

In an interview with Telemundo, the new beauty queen affirmed: “Of course I deserve this crown. I tried my best like all the other contestants. We went through the same challenge and I was the winner. Why should I give up something I tried so hard for and did so well?”

The beauty also said she was hurt when she and her family became the target of attacks, but would not give up her role as Miss Universe because of public pressure.

“When the truth is clear, you don’t need to defend yourself. However, when you have a voice, it is important to use it. I can confirm that everything people say about me is untrue,” she added.

Despite mixed reactions, Fátima Bosch's personal Instagram page has grown rapidly, recording more than 2 million followers after only one week of being crowned, currently reaching 3.5 million followers. President of the Miss Universe organization - Raul Rocha - affirmed that the new beauty queen is the person with the most followers in the history of the contest.

Fátima Bosch is considered one of the most controversial new Miss Universe in the history of the pageant. She was crowned in the context of the President of the Miss Universe organization - Raul Rocha - being investigated for allegations of trafficking in weapons and illegal substances.

Some sources said that Fátima's family had business relations with Raul Rocha, leading to suspicions that she was favored despite being judged to have had a lackluster performance in the top 5. Many opinions said that her term would face many storms.

Before entering the beauty arena, Fátima Bosch was a model and fashion designer. She graduated in Fashion Design from the Iberoamericana University, continued her studies at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan) and Lyndon Academy (USA). Currently, she owns her own fashion brand.

Fátima comes from a family with a prominent business- political background in Mexico. Her father is an oil and gas executive, her brother is active in politics, and her maternal side has a tradition of participating in beauty pageants.
