Expedite the completion of resettlement infrastructure.
Currently, Tuyen Quang is simultaneously implementing many large projects such as the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway; the My Lam resort urban area; the My Lam sports complex and golf course; the GO! Tuyen Quang commercial and service project; and connecting transportation routes and technical infrastructure for industrial clusters.
This is accompanied by a large volume of land clearance, leading to an urgent need for the construction of modern and integrated resettlement areas. In reality, where resettlement is prioritized, project progress is ensured, residents agree to hand over the land, and investors can confidently proceed with construction.
In My Lam ward, a series of large-scale projects are being implemented simultaneously. The My Lam Resort Urban Area alone covers over 540 hectares, developing as a high-end ecological resort with lakeside villas, forest villas, golf villas, and commercial and service areas.

To facilitate land clearance, the project has planned four resettlement areas with a total area of nearly 6.9 hectares, allocating more than 540 land plots for affected households. To date, the resettlement areas have basically completed their technical infrastructure such as transportation, electricity, water, lighting, and green spaces. Functional units are reviewing and finalizing the documents for handover and commissioning.
Mr. Tran Van Hai, from My Lam 5 residential group, one of the households that handed over their land at the end of April 2026, shared: "The people are very much hoping that the resettlement areas will soon complete the infrastructure and supporting facilities to stabilize their lives in the long term."
According to Mr. Vu Van Hiep, Chairman of the People's Committee of My Lam Ward, the locality is closely coordinating with departments, agencies and investors to urgently complete the infrastructure of 4 resettlement areas in order to soon arrange housing for over 500 households affected by projects in the area.
It is noteworthy that the current resettlement mindset no longer stops at simply providing new housing, but aims at building residential areas with integrated infrastructure and better living conditions than the old ones, gradually forming a new urban space. This is considered a crucial factor in ensuring people feel secure moving to new homes and adapting to the urbanization process.
Building consensus to expedite project progress.
Not only in My Lam, but the province is also focusing on directing the implementation of resettlement work to serve key transportation projects.
To facilitate the construction of the 8.1 km section of the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway Project (Phase 1) passing through the province, with a total land acquisition area of nearly 76 hectares, affecting 273 households and 4 organizations, the province plans to allocate 77 resettlement plots for households that need to relocate.
Comrade Tran Van Tuyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhu Khe commune, said that the expressway passing through the commune is about 7.4 km long, affecting about 200 households. The locality has completed the resettlement area in Cay Thi village, covering 6.2 hectares, and handed over the land to the people to build houses and gradually stabilize their lives. Mr. Gianh A Lau, a household eligible for resettlement in Cay Thi village, shared that during the relocation process, his family received active support from the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, and local organizations to quickly settle into their new home.
Simultaneously, resettlement work for the Ho Chi Minh Highway project, specifically the Cho Chu (Thai Nguyen) - Trung Son Junction (Tuyen Quang) section, is being accelerated. The province is constructing two resettlement areas in Trung Son and Hung Loi communes. However, the construction process faces numerous difficulties due to the complex mountainous terrain, obstacles in arranging waste disposal sites, and procedures related to land leveling and infrastructure construction.
Under pressure to meet deadlines, contractors are working overtime, increasing shifts, and mobilizing manpower and machinery to accelerate construction while still ensuring the quality of the project. Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, representative of the supervisory unit of the Hung Loi resettlement area, said that the construction units are focusing on completing the remaining items to hand over the land to the people for house construction as soon as possible.
At the Hung Loi resettlement area, where 73 households affected by the project are being relocated, approximately 90% of the land leveling, internal road construction, and drainage system work has been completed; the water supply system is basically finished. It is expected that land will be allocated to most households in the near future. Ms. Hoang Thi Lien from Hung Loi commune said that her family agreed to hand over the land early on, hoping for the road to be completed quickly, creating more convenient transportation. Her family is currently preparing to build a new house in the resettlement area.
Meanwhile, the Trung Son resettlement area is progressing slowly due to many incomplete electricity, water, and transportation infrastructure items, with only about 78% of the land leveling work completed. The Provincial People's Committee is directing relevant departments, localities, and the Ho Chi Minh Highway Project Management Board to focus on resolving all procedural and waste disposal issues; at the same time, it is requiring construction units to mobilize maximum manpower and equipment to accelerate progress while ensuring traffic safety, environmental hygiene, and minimizing the impact on people's lives.
Resettlement is increasingly being recognized as the "key" to unlocking bottlenecks for key projects. When people are guaranteed housing, infrastructure, and livelihoods, the land clearance process will be smoother, creating a foundation for key projects to be completed on schedule.
