Gather love, fill with warmth to support Dak Lak people affected by floods

On December 1-2, officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 1 Command organized the program "Gathering love - Filling warmth" by calling on all officers, soldiers, defense workers and employees to actively respond, donate money and goods to help people in the flood-affected areas of Dak Lak, with the desire to join hands to support people to overcome the difficult period caused by floods.

Implementing the Politburo 's Notice on assigning Hai Phong City to support and assist Dak Lak province in overcoming the consequences of floods; responding to the campaign of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in recent days, with the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves", units, organizations and individuals in Hai Phong City have had many practical activities to support the people of Dak Lak as well as the Central and Central Highlands provinces that are suffering heavily from the historic floods.

Colonel Nguyen Huu Tuyen, Deputy Political Commissar of the Regional Command, said: After two days of fundraising, the Coast Guard Region 1 Command received VND81.7 million in cash; 1 ton of rice, 52 boxes of instant noodles and many other necessities such as fish sauce, salt, MSG, cooking oil, clothes, water, candy, and toilet paper.

The Regional Command has transferred this amount of cash and goods to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Phong City to contribute together with agencies, units, enterprises; socio-political organizations, philanthropists, cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and all the people of Hai Phong City to bring their hearts to the people in the flood-hit area of ​​Dak Lak ; hoping that people will soon stabilize their lives, gradually overcome the consequences and return to their daily routine.

Previously, the Drug Crime Prevention Task Force No. 1 and the Reconnaissance Team No. 1, Vietnam Coast Guard, in coordination with Ngo Quyen Ward Police, Quang Trung Primary School and Secondary School, Ngo Quyen Ward, Hai Phong City, also launched and received support for people who suffered heavy losses due to storms and floods with a sense of responsibility and deep sympathy.

With responsibility and deep sharing after one day of launching, the applications received 1.3 tons of rice; 18 million VND in cash; 120 boxes of instant noodles; 300 gifts (including milk, water, cakes, dry food); 30 school bags, backpacks; 11 boxes of clothes, blankets, pillows of all kinds and many essential necessities from the generosity of agencies, organizations, businesses and people in the area. All of the above goods were packaged and transported directly to the Central region by the units to promptly support and assist the people.

This meaningful activity not only contributes to helping people in flood-affected areas gradually overcome the consequences of natural disasters, but also spreads the spirit of "Mutual love", demonstrating the affection and responsibility of officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Coast Guard towards the community.
