Responding to VTC News Electronic Newspaper about the Royal Hotel receiving an average rating of 4.3 stars after a day of receiving a "1-star storm" from the online community, a Google representative said: " We continuously invest in building technology and setting up activities to help people find reliable information on Google Maps.
Google's policies state that reviews must be based on real experiences and information. And we monitor closely 24/7 to detect fraudulent content, using a combination of human and technological resources. In this particular case, we removed reviews that were not based on real experiences and violated our policies," a Google representative said.

Previously, VTC News Electronic Newspaper reported the incident of a girl upset because the Royal Hotel on Hang Chao Street ( Hanoi ) "broke out of her room" because she checked in late, even though she had paid 100% of the rent through a booking application.
Immediately, the incident caused a stir in the online community, who vented their anger on this hotel by rating it 1 star. Royal Hotel at 19 Hang Chao received more than 31,000 reviews with an average score of 1 star along with many negative comments.
However, after only 1 day, Google restored the average rating of 4.3 stars and 336 comments for Royal Hotel on Google Maps.
