Send list of more than 3,000 students violating traffic laws to Hanoi Department of Education and Training

TPO - Hanoi Traffic Police and Public Security units have discovered and handled 3,130 students who violated the law, and compiled a list to send to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for coordination and correction.

On November 27, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department said that, implementing the plan of the City Police on the peak of propaganda, inspection, and handling of students and parents violating traffic safety regulations, in November 2025, the Traffic Police force and the Police of all units discovered and handled 3,130 students who violated the regulations, and made a list to send to the Hanoi Department of Education and Training for coordination and correction.

From October 9 to November 15, the Traffic Police force coordinated with local police and schools to organize 81 live traffic safety propaganda sessions, with more than 80,000 students, parents, officials and teachers attending.

Through patrol and control work, during this time, the authorities discovered and handled 3,130 cases of students violating traffic safety laws. Of which, 216 were junior high school students, 2,091 were high school students, and 161 were in the Continuing Education sector...

Many schools have a high number of students violating the rules, typically: Dong Kinh High School (42 cases), Xuan Dinh High School (26 cases), Tran Hung Dao High School (24 cases), Tay Ho High School (19 cases), Ta Quang Buu High School (16 cases), Lomonosov High School (15 cases)...

Authorities assessed that recently, the situation of students violating traffic order and safety in the city has had positive changes. Behaviors such as driving motorbikes and scooters without helmets, carrying more people than the prescribed number, etc. have decreased significantly. Parents' awareness of obeying traffic safety laws at school gates has also been raised, contributing to ensuring safety for students.

To improve efficiency, Hanoi City Police will continue to closely coordinate with Hanoi Department of Education and Training to promote propaganda and dissemination of traffic safety laws. At the same time, the functional forces will increase patrols and control, strictly handle violations among school-age children, to prevent accidents and ensure a safe and healthy traffic environment for children.
