Hanoi to launch fireworks at 30 locations to celebrate 70th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day

Accordingly, the city will deploy 30 firing points with 31 locations, including 1 high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks with 800 fireworks and 24 pyrotechnic platforms with 480 pyrotechnic tubes at My Dinh National Stadium combined with the F1 racetrack campus, Phu Do ward, Nam Tu Liem district.

8 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays, each with 600 fireworks in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and Hanoi Post Office (Hoan Kiem District); Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho District); Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward (Hai Ba Trung District); Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward (Ha Dong District); Son Tay Ancient Citadel (Son Tay Town); the project land of the regulating lake, Tam Hiep Commune (Thanh Tri District); Dong Anh District Sports and Physical Training Center.

22 low-altitude fireworks display locations at: Southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward (Ba Dinh District); Den Lu Lake Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward (Hoang Mai District); Park 02, Viet Hung Ward (Long Bien District); Hoang Cau Lake Peninsula, O Cho Dua Ward (Dong Da District); Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward (Cau Giay District); Nhan Chinh Lake Park, Nhan Chinh Ward (Thanh Xuan District); Hoa Binh Park, Xuan Dinh Ward (Bac Tu Liem District); No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy Town (Gia Lam District); 4-storey roof of Me Linh District People's Committee; Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town (Ba Vi District); Stand B, Dan Phuong District Stadium, Phung Town (Dan Phuong District);

The firing duration is 15 minutes, from 21:30 to 21:45, October 9, 2024.

The fireworks display aims to arouse pride, heroic spirit, glorious historical value and significance, revolutionary fighting tradition of the Party Committee, armed forces and people of the Capital in the cause of national liberation; create motivation and spirit to build the capital of a thousand years of culture and heroism: the Capital of Peace - Civilization - Modernity.

The City People's Committee requests agencies and units to closely coordinate forces, seriously and specifically implement the plan, organize fireworks displays according to the program and time specified; carefully prepare all aspects of strict command, ensure absolute safety of people and equipment before, during and after fireworks display. Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and related units are responsible for implementing this plan, ensuring safety.
