Hanoi fireworks to celebrate 70th anniversary of Capital Liberation Day

The fireworks display aims to arouse pride, heroic spirit, glorious historical value and significance, revolutionary fighting tradition of the Party Committee, armed forces and people of the Capital in the cause of national liberation; create motivation and spirit to build the capital of a thousand years of culture and heroism: the Capital of Peace - Civilization - Modernity.

Specifically, the Hanoi People's Committee has just planned to organize fireworks displays to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) in the Capital. Accordingly, the city will deploy 30 shooting points with 31 locations, including 1 high-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks with 800 fireworks and 24 pyrotechnic platforms with 480 pyrotechnic tubes at My Dinh National Stadium combined with the F1 racetrack campus, Phu Do Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.

8 locations for high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, each location with 600 fireworks. Of which, Hoan Kiem district has 2 locations: in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and in front of the Hanoi Post Office ; in Tay Ho district, fireworks will be fired at Lac Long Quan flower garden; the fireworks firing location in Hai Ba Trung district is Thong Nhat Park; the firing location in Ha Dong district is Van Quan lake; in Son Tay town is Son Tay ancient citadel; the project land of the regulating lake, Tam Hiep commune (Thanh Tri district) and the Sports and Physical Training Center of Dong Anh district.

22 low-altitude fireworks display locations at: Southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake (Ba Dinh District); Den Lu Lake Park (Hoang Mai District); Park 02 (Long Bien District); Hoang Cau Lake Peninsula (Dong Da District); Cau Giay Park (Cau Giay District); Nhan Chinh Lake Park (Thanh Xuan District); Hoa Binh Park (Bac Tu Liem District); No. 1 Thuan An (Gia Lam District); 4-storey roof of Me Linh District People's Committee; Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town (Ba Vi District);

Stand B, Dan Phuong District Stadium (Dan Phuong District); Lien Quan Town Stadium (Thach That District); Chuc Son District Stadium (Chuong My District); Thuong Tin District Stadium (Thuong Tin District); 6-storey roof of Quoc Oai District Military Command; Thao Chinh Sub-area, Phu Xuyen Town; Ecological Lake Park, Dai Nghia Town (My Duc District); Van Dinh District Stadium (Ung Hoa District); Soc Son District Stadium (Soc Son District); Phuc Tho District Stadium (Phuc Tho District); Green Park, Kim Bai Town (Thanh Oai District); Cultural, Information and Sports Center Stadium, Hoai Duc District.

The firing duration is 15 minutes, from 21:30 to 21:45, October 9, 2024.

According to the plan, the City People's Committee requires agencies and units to closely coordinate forces, seriously and specifically implement the plan, organize fireworks displays according to the program and time specified; carefully prepare all aspects of strict command, ensure absolute safety of people and equipment before, during and after fireworks display. Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and related units are responsible for implementing this plan, ensuring safety .
