The 2025-2026 school year continues to mark the strong spread of Violympic, attracting over 1 million student participants, with nearly 150,000 contestants advancing to the national final round.

After five rounds of competition, 32,303 students were honored in the subjects of Mathematics, English Mathematics, Vietnamese Language, Natural Sciences , History, and Geography. Although this was the first year Violympic organized the national round for first-grade students, the competition immediately received widespread attention from students and parents.

Of the total number of award-winning students, there were 2,595 Gold medals, 3,896 Silver medals, 6,512 Bronze medals, and 19,300 Honorable Mention awards.

Hanoi continues to lead the country with 7,733 award-winning students, followed by Hai Phong with 4,396 students, Phu Tho with 3,720 students, Ninh Binh with 3,608 students, and Hung Yen with 2,437 award-winning students.

This year, many contestants came from mountainous and remote provinces such as Lai Chau, Son La, Cao Bang, and Lao Cai, showing that Violympic is not only spreading strongly in major cities but is also increasingly becoming a familiar learning platform for students in many localities across the country. The total value of prizes for outstanding students nationwide reached nearly 2 billion VND.

Following the awards ceremony in Hanoi, Violympic will continue to hold its awards ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on May 24th. This is the first year Violympic has organized a major awards ceremony in both the North and South of Vietnam.

The top 20 outstanding students from grades 1 to 8 in the national round of the Violympic competition will be given priority to advance directly to the national round of the Vio Global Champion – a global mathematics competition jointly organized by FPT Group and the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences. This is an opportunity for the most outstanding students from Violympic to continue representing Vietnamese students on their journey to conquer the international stage.
