Hanoi's tourism industry is developing a diverse range of products, from river and metro tourism, night tourism, and community tourism, to eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, and traditional craft village tours. Events such as the Hanoi Autumn Festival, the Hanoi Culinary and Traditional Craft Village Tourism Festival 2025, and the stimulus program "Hanoi residents and tourists experience services at 4-5 star hotels" aim to attract domestic tourists and promote the image of the capital city as "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive".
Hanoi also focuses on preserving and restoring historical sites and scenic spots such as the Huong Son complex and West Lake, completing large-scale tourism projects such as hotels at 27-29 Ly Thai To, 58 Tay Ho, and the Tien Bo Plaza complex. Simultaneously, the city promotes the application of digital technology in tourism, expands international cooperation and regional linkages, and organizes roadshows, Famtrips, and Presstrips to promote destinations.
As a result, total revenue is estimated at VND 134.46 trillion, an increase of 21.5%, and room occupancy reached 65.5%, an increase of 3.5% compared to the previous year, reflecting the strong recovery of the high-end hotel, restaurant, and tourism services market.
