Hanoi is organizing a survey for 11th grade students for the first time, expected in March or April, to get them familiar with the 3 high school graduation exam.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training today said that the survey content for grade 11 was built based on the structure of the 2025 high school graduation exam that the Ministry of Education and Training announced at the end of December 12.
Organizing surveys for students to practice for the high school graduation exam is an annual activity in Hanoi. However, in previous years, this only applied to 12th grade students. The expansion to 11th grade students is because this is the first batch of students taking the graduation exam under the new general education program (also known as the submitted in 2018).
The 2025 high school graduation exam includes two mandatory subjects: Math and Literature. In addition, candidates can choose two subjects from the remaining subjects in the high school program, including: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Literature, Geography, History, Economic and Legal Education, Informatics, Technology and Foreign Languages (7 languages: English, German, Russian, Japanese, French, Chinese, Korean).
According to the plan, about 200.000 students in grades 11 and 12 in Hanoi will participate in the survey.
Last year, Hanoi's survey was held in early April, for 4th grade students. The form and time of taking the test were similar to the graduation exam. Students take four tests, of which three are required from Math, Literature, Foreign Language, and one optional from Social Sciences or Natural Sciences.
