Hanoi: Complete construction of technical infrastructure for 26 industrial clusters by 2026

Accordingly, based on demand, in 2026, the city aims to fill 6 industrial clusters that have completed technical infrastructure construction; complete technical infrastructure construction of 26 industrial clusters that have started construction in the 2021-2025 period; establish and expand 5-10 industrial clusters in accordance with the industrial cluster development plan in the Hanoi Capital Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; 100% of newly built industrial clusters have wastewater treatment plants that meet national standards or technical regulations.

To complete these targets, the city will focus on synchronously implementing many key tasks, such as: Building mechanisms and policies for industrial cluster development; organizing management and development of industrial clusters that have come into operation; implementing investment in building technical infrastructure for industrial clusters that have been established; developing and establishing new industrial clusters...

The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade as the focal agency to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, People's Committees of communes, wards, and industrial cluster investors to organize and implement the contents of management and development of industrial clusters; urge relevant departments, branches, localities, and units to comply with regulations and instructions of the city.

At the same time, the Department of Industry and Trade monitors the implementation of commitments on the progress of completing the construction of technical infrastructure of industrial clusters in operation, industrial clusters that have started construction of technical infrastructure; the progress of starting construction of the remaining industrial clusters... Develop an inspection plan according to regulations on specialized inspection activities; monitor the implementation of compliance with legal regulations on planning, investment, construction, and land in industrial clusters according to the provisions of law and approved planning.

The City People's Committee also assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over the development of guidelines for rewards, appraisal, review and submission to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for rewards for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing management and investment in developing industrial clusters in 2026.
