Accordingly, solo travelers really want to explore Asia, as shown by the fact that Asian destinations "overwhelm" the top 15 destinations in the world for solo travel announced by Explore Worldwide.
Explore Worldwide's research shows that Hanoi (Vietnam) is the most popular solo travel destination in the world, followed by Bangkok (Thailand) in 2nd place and Taipei City, Taiwan (China) in 3rd place. Another Vietnamese representative on the list is Ho Chi Minh City (6th place). Only 2 European destinations are on the list: Zurich (12th place) and Nice (14th place).
