"In the beginning, we didn't sell any plants at all. After we reduced the price by half, we sold a few, mostly small potted plants," this vendor shared.

Large yellow apricot blossom trees, originally priced at 6-8 million VND, are still not selling even after being discounted to 3-5 million VND.

The yellow apricot blossoms from Binh Dinh arrived in Hanoi during a period of humid weather, causing them to bloom prematurely before Tet, prompting traders to quickly sell off their stock.

Small business owners shared that the cost of bringing apricot blossom tree to Hanoi is not cheap, yet it is very difficult to sell them in the capital.

Unable to sell their goods, many vendors packed up their stalls early.
