According to our reporter's observations, on the 28th day of the Lunar New Year, at the spring flower markets in Hanoi, while stalls selling peach blossoms, kumquats, and other ornamental plants were still bustling with buyers, the yellow apricot blossoms from Binh Dinh were selling poorly, waiting for customers.

A small vendor at the Spring flower market on Lac Long Quan Street said that although she came out early, she sold very few, only 3-5 plants each day.

The yellow apricot blossoms from Binh Dinh arrived in Hanoi during a period of humid weather, causing them to bloom prematurely before Tet, prompting traders to quickly sell off their stock.

Yellow apricot blossoms are the name of a flowering plant belonging to the genus Apricot. These flowers are commonly displayed in Southern Vietnam during the Lunar New Year. The yellow color of the apricot blossoms has long been considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity. According to ancient beliefs, the more petals an apricot blossom has, the luckier and more prosperous the household will be in the new year.
