Hanoi ready for Vietnam - Asia Smart City Conference

The conference aims to share visions, experiences, cooperation, construction and development of smart cities in provinces and cities in Vietnam and internationally; connect digital transformation cooperation for provinces, cities, businesses and organizations in the Asia region; introduce digital technology products and services serving the construction and development of smart cities; promote the development of digital technology enterprises in Hanoi and the Capital Region.

The event was hosted by the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association, in coordination with the City People's Committee and the Department of Science and Technology, city departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of communes and wards.

The Conference is expected to be held from 8am to 5pm on December 23, at the National Convention Center or a number of 5-star hotels (InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72 Hotel, Melia Hotel, Thang Loi Hotel...) or another suitable location with a scale of about more than 600 delegates.

Attending this event were representatives of central agencies and Hanoi city; domestic guests: leaders of People's Committees and leaders of People's Committee Offices of provinces and centrally-run cities; leaders of departments and branches; owners of real estate businesses, businesses in industrial parks in Vietnam; research organizations, universities and colleges in Hanoi.

International guests include: A number of foreign embassies in Hanoi; representatives of a number of cities in Asia; domestic and foreign international organizations; associations, businesses; experts and scientists in the fields of information technology and digital technology, both domestically and internationally, providing solutions related to AI and smart cities.

The City People's Committee assigned the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology to coordinate, inspect, urge, and report on progress and implementation results; coordinate with the Vietnam Association of Software and Information Technology Services, relevant departments, branches, and units to develop the program content and detailed script of the conference; synthesize and provide relevant information at the request of the City Police and the Hanoi Capital Command to serve the work of ensuring security and safety...
