On the morning of January 16th, the Hanoi People's Committee andFPT Group announced the commencement of the Digital and Mixed-Use Technology Park Project in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Attending the event were: Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee; Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Hanoi City People's Council; Mr. Truong Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City People's Committee, along with leaders of city departments and agencies, and leaders of Tay Tuu Ward, Phu Dien Ward, and Phu Cat Ward.

The Hanoi People's Committee issued Decisions No. 238/QD-UBND and 239/QD-UBND on January 15, 2026, officially selecting FPT as the investor to implement the Digital and Mixed-Use Technology Park Project in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards.

The project aims to implement Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building Hanoi into a major center for economy, culture, education and training, science and technology, and international integration, with rapid, sustainable development and a ripple effect throughout the region and the country. At the same time, the project is also an important concrete step in implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, in which the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation are decisive factors for the country's prosperous development. powerful in the new era.

The project, spanning a total area of ​​196.8 hectares, is designed, constructed, and operated according to green building standards, aiming for sustainable development while creating a comprehensive living, working, and creative environment. The centerpiece is a digital technology park focusing on innovation and digital transformation, covering approximately 168.9 hectares.

The project is scheduled for implementation from 2026 to 2031, with the first phase expected to be completed and operational in 2027. Through this project, the Hanoi People's Committee and FPT Group aim to build a comprehensive, complete, and high-quality environment for businesses to research, produce, and develop advanced technologies; attract domestic and international experts and scientists; and develop an innovative startup ecosystem. This will also be FPT's largest concentrated digital technology park nationwide.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Truong Viet Dung, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, affirmed that the digital technology park is oriented by the city to become an important nucleus in the innovation ecosystem of the capital, linked to the goal of building Hanoi into a major center for science, technology and digital economy of the whole country.

“The city expects investors to continue to leverage their capabilities, experience, and reputation; implement projects in line with the established direction, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with the law; thereby making practical contributions to Hanoi’s sustainable development goals, in line with the vision established in the Capital City Master Plan with a 100-year vision,” Mr. Truong Viet Dung emphasized.

We believe the project will contribute to affirming Hanoi's position as the science and technology center of the country and gradually realize the aspiration of a Vietnamese 'Silicon Valley'.”

The Digital and Mixed-Use Technology Park project in Tay Tuu and Phu Dien wards is implemented under a management model where the State manages planning, policies, and supervision, while investors directly invest in and operate the entire facility, ensuring flexibility, efficiency, and suitability to the rapid development of the technology sector. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the tripartite cooperation model between the State, scientists, and businesses in creating a research and working environment that meets international standards; promoting the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in Vietnam.
