Carrying out the tasks assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat (Conclusion Notice No. 99-TB/TW dated November 21, 2025) to directly support Gia Lai province in overcoming the consequences of historic floods, the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee have proactively and urgently taken action with high responsibility in the spirit of "Hanoi's affection", "Hanoi for the whole country, with the whole country".

On November 21, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 73-CV/TU on the implementation of a plan to support the Central and Central Highlands provinces to overcome the severe consequences caused by prolonged heavy rains and floods. In particular, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee was assigned to direct the city's functional agencies to coordinate with Gia Lai province to review and synthesize damage data and propose support plans (such as necessities, housing for poor and near-poor households affected, infrastructure works, and reproduction). On that basis, propose a plan of the Hanoi Party Committee to support people in the Central provinces and Gia Lai province to overcome the consequences caused by heavy rains and floods, including support from the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the city's budget...
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee agreed in principle and directed the deployment of emergency aid of 50 billion VND to Gia Lai province to promptly support people affected by floods.
Based on the agreement between the two localities, Hanoi City decided to continue to support Gia Lai province with 200 billion VND to build resettlement areas and repair traffic infrastructure damaged by storms and floods. Hanoi Party Committee assigned the City People's Committee to closely coordinate with Gia Lai province to provide timely support, ensuring the fastest implementation of the project to build resettlement areas and repair traffic infrastructure to help local people who suffered heavy damage from storms and floods quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.
Along with support for Gia Lai province, Hanoi has also allocated 10 billion VND from the city's Relief Fund to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promptly responding to the call of the President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai to support people affected by storms and floods. On November 24, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong continued to award 30 billion VND in support to Dak Lak, Lam Dong, and Khanh Hoa provinces, each province receiving 10 billion VND.
