This morning, April 19, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the Launching Ceremony of the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted. Attending the event were comrade Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, representatives of provincial departments and branches, and a large number of teachers and students from schools in Ha Tinh .

Responding to meaningful messages such as: "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books"... Book and Reading Culture Day in Ha Tinh this year took place with many rich activities such as: Launching ceremony of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day; talk on "Reading in the digital age"; book display and exhibition; organizing multimedia mobile library vehicles at schools; book donation, Book Distribution Week.
Book displays at Ha Tinh Provincial Library, the Literature and Arts Association and local schools attracted the attention of many students, teachers and people.
Within the framework of activities of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day this year, there are 10 units participating with 10 booths displaying and exhibiting books. The booths introduce tens of thousands of books with many meaningful and diverse topics.
Ha Tinh Provincial Library donated books to 3 units including Ha Tinh Specialized High School, Tra Linh Secondary School and Xuan Loc Commune Library, contributing to the development of community bookcases in the area.
Along with meaningful activities to spread the reading culture, at the ceremony, Ha Tinh Provincial Library also donated books worth a total of 45 million VND to 3 units: Ha Tinh Specialized High School, Tra Linh Secondary School and Xuan Loc Commune Library, Can Loc District to contribute to building and developing school bookshelves and community bookshelves in the province.
