The construction sector grew strongly thanks to large-volume projects such as: North - South Expressway Project, Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, which were focused on accelerating progress".
The agricultural sector achieved success with the joy of farmers when the spring rice crop achieved the highest yield ever, the output of aquatic products was high and livestock activities were stable. Although the industrial sector still faced difficulties due to the failure of Unit 1 - Vung Ang 1 Thermal Power Plant, it also received positive results when many enterprises operated better and some projects were started.
Steel and steel billet exports in the first 6 months of the year increased by 34% over the same period last year.
Total social investment capital increased by 38% compared to the same period last year, job creation for workers reached 57% of the yearly plan, and mobilized credit capital increased, which are also remarkable results in socio-economic development in the first months of the year.
Identifying that accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital is an important task to promote economic development, Ha Tinh has established 3 provincial-level working groups to urge, inspect and handle difficulties in the disbursement of this capital source. As a result, in 6 months, the disbursement rate reached 33.6% of the plan, higher than the same period and higher than the national average. In addition, the work of site clearance and resettlement of the North-South expressway project through Ha Tinh has been focused on and highly appreciated by the Central Government.
