Ha Tinh releases more than 700 kg of fish fry to restore aquatic resources

On December 9, the Ha Tinh Fisheries Department coordinated with local authorities to release more than 700 kg of various types of fish fry into Mac Khe Lake, Ky Anh Commune.

This is an activity to regenerate and develop natural aquatic resources. The released fish fry include grass carp, bighead carp, bighead carp, common carp, catfish, black carp, etc. with uniform sizes, meeting the quality standards for regenerating resources. The fish fry are selected from reputable seed production facilities, ensuring their health to adapt well when released into the natural environment.

Mac Khe Lake is a large water body with stable water reserves and favorable conditions for aquatic species to grow. Releasing additional fish fry not only contributes to restoring native fish populations and increasing biodiversity, but also improves the livelihoods of people living around the lake area.

In recent times, Ha Tinh has implemented many programs to release fish to regenerate resources in large reservoirs to restore the ecosystem, create natural balance and move towards sustainable exploitation. The fish release activity in Mac Khe Lake continues to demonstrate the efforts of the Ha Tinh fisheries sector in protecting resources and developing a sustainable fisheries economy .

Previously, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh also released 80,000 fish fry into Da Han dam (Huong Binh commune).
