The Asian-inspired roast duck and pork dish is now named after Haaland. |
On November 9, the Norwegian striker visited the Happy Seasons restaurant, famous for its signature roast dishes. After Man City's 3-0 victory over Liverpool, Haaland entered the restaurant to the surprise and excitement of the staff, all of whom were die-hard fans of "The Citizens".
Here, the 25-year-old striker ordered a "triple roast" - a dish consisting of roast duck and two different types of roast pork. After Haaland left, the restaurant quickly posted a picture of the special bill on social media and announced: "Customers can now order the Haaland Special - exactly what he ate."
In the comments section, fans were excited. "Give me a portion of Haaland and rice", "Must try Haaland Special", "He literally cooks from the football field to the restaurant" (referring to exploding on the field and shining with his own dish - PV).
A staff member at the restaurant shared: "We couldn't believe it when Haaland walked in. He was so friendly and cheerful. As Man City fans, we are so proud. Now just say Haaland Special and you will get exactly what he ordered."
According to The Sun , this is not the first time Haaland has attracted attention with his special diet. The 1.93 m tall player is famous for his huge meals after each match, including roast meat, vegetables and protein-rich dishes to restore his physical strength.
Haaland has scored 17 goals this season, continuing his fearsome scoring form. Norway teammate Josh King once revealed: "He's a phenomenon. I've never seen anyone eat as much as Haaland. He's an absolute monster."
