After an impressive 4-0 win over Wolves in the opening match, Pep Guardiola's team surprisingly lost consecutive matches against Tottenham and Brighton. This bad run of results pushed Man City down to 13th place in the rankings.
"We lost two games in a row and that's unacceptable. Too bad!", Haaland shared on Viaplay channel.
"We need to find a solution and get back to winning ways. We can't lose anymore because there are too many strong teams," Haaland said.
Haaland believes the Manchester derby is the perfect opportunity for Man City to bounce back. "It's great to have the chance to turn things around against Man United.
We all need to play at our best. Man City have to 'wake up' and get inspired again, because what we have shown up to now is not enough."
Despite the team's difficulties, the 25-year-old Norwegian striker has maintained his impressive scoring form, with 3 goals in 3 Premier League matches. During the national team training session, Haaland also "scored" 5 times, helping the Norwegian team get closer to the 2026 World Cup finals.

"Losing a game is not easy. It's a bad feeling, but we need to turn it into something positive. We have to use the anger inside to motivate us to do better in the next game, and I believe we will. We have to bring that anger onto the pitch to perform at the highest level," Haaland added.
Man City will host Man United at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, September 14 at 10:30 p.m. (Vietnam time).
