Border Guard Squadron 38: Presenting national flags to fishermen of Lien Hoa ward

On September 24 and 25, the working group of Border Guard Squadron 38 (Border Guard Command) coordinated with Lien Hoa ward (Quang Ninh province) and Cat Hai special zone (Hai Phong city) to carry out many activities to support fishermen in responding to storm No. 9 (Ragasa), combining presenting national flags and propagating and disseminating laws to fishermen.

Officers of Border Guard Squadron 38 presented national flags to fishermen and combined them with legal propaganda for fishermen in Lien Hoa ward, Quang Ninh province.

Specifically, officers and soldiers of the unit directly assisted in evacuating 12 fishermen from the dangerous area; helped 42 fishing boats and households tie up and reinforce cages, rafts, and watchtowers for aquaculture; and at the same time, required people to absolutely not stay on cages, rafts, and watchtowers in the aquaculture area to ensure safety of their lives.

On this occasion, the 38th Border Guard Squadron presented 42 national flags and distributed hundreds of leaflets to promote the law, and organized dozens of fishermen to sign a commitment not to violate the law when participating in fishing activities at sea. Through these activities, the fishermen's awareness of law compliance and their belief and will to go to sea are enhanced.
