DNO - On November 26, officers and soldiers of Border Guard Squadron 2 (Da Nang Border Guard) coordinated with Van Xuan Company Limited and benefactors to visit and provide emergency support to people in Put village, Hung Son border commune after the landslide.

The delegation presented more than 200 gifts including rice, essential foods, cash and 500 square meters of tarpaulin to help people stabilize their temporary housing and overcome immediate difficulties. The total value of the gifts was more than 150 million VND.

At the same time, the delegation visited and encouraged two children who are “adopted children of Ga Ry Border Guard Station”, who are also the children of two victims missing in the landslide. Each child received 12 million VND in support and gifts.

On this occasion, philanthropists and officers and soldiers of Border Guard Squadron 2 presented gifts to encourage officers and soldiers of Ga Ry Border Guard Station and Tr'Hy Border Guard Station - the forces that are working day and night to search and support people in the landslide area.

As reported, the serious landslide at A Zat stream, Put village on November 14th left 3 people missing (1 victim has been found) and caused great damage to property and livelihoods of local people.
