An Giang province's standing militia fleet won 4 first prizes at the 2025 good ship competition

With careful and active preparation, the Standing Militia Squadron, An Giang Provincial Military Command has successfully completed the contents of the Good Ship Competition and the Standing Militia Squadron Ship Training Sports Festival in 2025.

The Good Ship Competition and the Training Sports Festival of the Standing Militia Squadron of Region 4 took place from November 26-27 with the participation of 4 ships (KG-96021-TS; KG-96022-TS; KG-96024-TS and KG-96026-TS) of the Standing Militia Squadron of An Giang province.

The format of the good ship competition and the 2025 Standing Militia Squadron ship training competition combines theoretical and practical testing; testing at the wharf and at sea; testing the entire ship's operations for each industry and each position.

The good ship competition includes the following contents: whole ship, electromechanical industry, weapons industry, and equipment-electronics industry.

The ship training competition includes the following contents: ship specialties (ship regulations, ship tactics, navigation, weapons, equipment - electronics, electromechanics); political awareness; logistics competition; competition for excellent ship officers and 100m breaststroke swimming skills.

According to the Organizing Committee, the competition took place in unfavorable weather conditions, the Squadron was performing many tasks at the same time, the weather was erratic. However, with the spirit of emulation and determination to achieve achievements, the officers and soldiers of the Standing Militia Squadron proactively overcame difficulties and did a good job of preparation, especially in terms of human resources and technical equipment.

During the competition and sports festival, officers and soldiers of the ships strictly followed the regulations, were proficient in their profession, had solid expertise, were calm and confident in performing the contents well, ensuring absolute safety, and achieving high results in the 2025 competition and sports festival.

Through the 2025 Competition and Sports Festival, the An Giang Provincial Standing Militia Squadron has excellently won 4 first prizes (good ship competition, whole ship competition, electromechanical, 100m breaststroke), 1 third prize (training competition), 2 consolation prizes (ship technical inspection, training competition).
