Hai Duong attracts 41 new FDI projects

FDI enterprises in Hai Duong create jobs for about 230,000 direct workers.

According to the Department of Planning and Investment of Hai Duong province, in the first 7 months of 2024, the province attracted 41 production and business projects with foreign direct investment (FDI) with a total registered capital of 172.8 million USD, an increase of 3 projects compared to the same period last year. Of which, there were 32 FDI projects in industrial parks with a capital of 163.9 million USD and 9 projects outside industrial parks.

In addition to new projects, the province also adjusted capital increases for 19 projects with a total capital increase of 58.9 million USD and added 18 capital contributions and share purchases by foreign investors in domestic enterprises with a total capital contribution value of 3.9 million USD.

By the end of July, Hai Duong had 574 valid FDI projects with a total investment capital of more than 10.5 billion USD from 27 countries and territories. The total implemented capital was nearly 8.8 billion USD. FDI enterprises attracted about 230,000 direct workers and thousands of indirect workers.
