Hai Ha: Launching a textile project with an investment capital of over 71 million USD

On July 9, 2024, at Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park, Black Peony Textile Co., Ltd. (BP) Vietnam held a launching ceremony for a textile project with a total investment of 71.1 million USD.

The launching ceremony of the project of Black Peony Textile Company Limited (BP) Vietnam is one of four projects attracting investment in Hai Ha district from the beginning of 2024. The project has a total investment capital of about 71.1 million USD, a land area of over 12.24 hectares, a design capacity equivalent to 9,900 tons/year, 20,000 garment products/year, and a labor demand of about 800 people.

Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park is identified as one of the key industrial development areas of Quang Ninh province, within the province's development spatial orientation of "One center, two routes, multi-dimensional and two breakthroughs". In which, Hai Ha district is located in the Eastern Corridor of the province, aiming to connect the Northeast Asia market, located in the second breakthrough point which is Mong Cai Border Gate Economic Zone. Up to now, the industrial park has attracted 25 secondary projects with a total registered investment capital of over 3 billion USD, creating jobs for 13,800 workers. The occupancy rate on the industrial land area according to the planning approved by the competent State agency reached 64.48%.

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of Hai Ha district also affirmed that they will continue to pay attention and create the most favorable conditions for investors to speed up the construction progress; at the same time, they requested investors, consultants, and contractors to strictly comply with legal regulations, construction standards and regulations; ensure quality, construction safety, labor safety, environmental sanitation, protect the infrastructure of the project area and complete the project according to the set plan. The project being deployed and put into operation will contribute to creating an important driving force in promoting and comprehensively developing Hai Ha seaport industrial park in the coming time.
