Hai Phong City People's Committee has decided to change the names of 47 public service units under the Department of Health and 375 commune-level health stations.
Specifically, the City People's Committee has renamed 25 public service units under the former Hai Phong City Department of Health, including 9 hospitals, 2 specialized centers and 14 district-level health centers. At the same time, 22 public service units under the former Hai Duong Province Department of Health, including 8 hospitals, 2 specialized centers and 12 district-level health centers, have been renamed.
The renaming of public service units under the Department of Health is basically to conform to the new administrative unit. However, some units are renamed to conform to their functions and tasks.
375 previous commune-level health stations were also renamed to match the names of the current 114 communes, wards, and special zones, with serial numbers according to the number of health stations in the area.
