Hai Phong strengthens management of activities at riverside wharves and yards

On the morning of November 14, comrade Le Trung Kien, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board inspected the management of riverside wharves and yards in a number of areas in the city.

After inspecting the construction material gathering area at the foot of Thai bridge (Phu Thai commune), the foot of Han bridge (Thanh Dong ward); Minh Du Tuynel Brick Company Ltd. (Tran Phu commune) and the area along sea dike 1 (Hung Dao ward), comrade Le Trung Kien emphasized: Developing the economy and increasing budget revenue from production and business activities in riverside areas is necessary, but must ensure compliance with legal regulations.

Comrade Le Trung Kien inspected Minh Du Tunnel Brick Company Ltd., Tran Phu commune.

He requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to review, propose and develop plans for areas permitted for production and business as construction material staging areas along rivers and submit them to competent authorities for approval, in order to effectively manage and exploit riverside areas for sustainable development.
