On the evening of November 9, at the square of the special national relic site of Cultural Celebrity Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem, Hai Phong City held a ceremony to honor outstanding students in 2024.
This is the 20th year Hai Phong has organized a ceremony to honor outstanding students. With the theme “Hai Phong students – Bright knowledge, solid skills, building the country”, the ceremony honored 139 outstanding students of 2024 of the Port City.
Of these, 4 students won prizes in international and regional competitions, 13 students won national first prizes, 31 students won national second prizes and 37 students won national third prizes in the 2023-2024 school year.
There are also 31 valedictorians and 23 students who achieved high scores in the High School Graduation Exam and were admitted to universities, colleges, and academies at home or abroad in 2024.
Mr. Le Khac Nam, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee, said that Hai Phong is a locality with a tradition of studiousness and good learning. Over the years, the city has always paid attention, invested and had many policies to strongly develop theeducation and training sector.
For many years, the city has always been in the top localities in terms of academic achievements and won many awards in national and international competitions for excellent students...
On the afternoon of November 9, outstanding students offered incense at the Statue of Female General Le Chan (Hong Bang district), the Memorial House of Revolutionary Nguyen Duc Canh (An Duong district), the Statue of President Ho Chi Minh (Kien An district), and the Temple and Monument of Cultural Celebrity Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem (Vinh Bao district).
