According to the City Department of Internal Affairs, in the first four months of 2026, the Employment Service Center (a unit under the department) organized 35 job fairs.
The job fairs attracted 418 participating businesses with a recruitment demand of over 130,200 workers. The labor supply at the fair reached nearly 68,000 people, meeting approximately 60% of the recruitment needs of the businesses.
The above data shows an imbalance between supply and demand in the labor market. Many businesses are still struggling to recruit workers, especially in certain industries that require high skills, expertise, or strict work discipline.
In the coming period, the City Employment Service Center will continue to strengthen the organization of job fairs, diversify direct and online connection methods, and coordinate with vocational education institutions to promote training according to market needs, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and gradually narrowing the gap between labor supply and demand in the area.
