Jeonbuk is a place that fully preserves the traditional cultural features of the land of kimchi, from traditional costumes (Hanbok), traditional ancient houses (Hanok), traditional music , to traditional paper (Hanji) and traditional cuisine.

Mr. Lee Yong Woo, representative of Jeonbuk Culture and Tourism Foundation, said that Jeonbuk province is the cradle of traditional Korean culture, a place where unique heritage values, beautiful nature and rich tourism resources converge.
Over the years, Jeonbuk has continuously developed new tourism products in various forms: experiential tourism, healing tourism, cultural - culinary tourism and community tourism, meeting the increasingly diverse needs of international tourists.
"Vietnam is one of the most important markets for us. The number of Vietnamese tourists to Korea has grown strongly.
We believe that Jeonbuk - with its advantages in nature, culture and unique tourism products, will also become an attractive, safe and friendly destination for Vietnamese tourists," Mr. Lee Yong Woo shared.

Promote two-way tourism
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dat - Vice President of Hanoi Tourism Association - commented that stressful life makes the need for healing tourism become more and more popular.
According to the General Statistics Office, in the first 11 months of 2025, Vietnam tourism welcomed 3.9 million Korean visitors, becoming the second largest tourist sending market of Vietnam.
On the other hand, South Korea is also a country that Vietnamese tourists love because of its natural landscapes and unique cultural features. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is the second largest market of the land of kimchi.

Mr. Dat commented that although Korea has diverse landscapes and rich culture, over the past 20 years, Vietnamese tourists to Korea have mainly taken traditional tours to Seoul, Incheon, Nami Island or Jeju Island. However, tourists who want to come back for the second or third time want to find deeper trips with multi-layered experiences.
Jeonbuk is also a destination with two strengths: nature and traditional culture, this will be a potential destination for Vietnamese tourists.
In addition, this destination also has many advantages when it is only about 1 hour and 30 minutes by KTX train or 3 hours by bus from Incheon International Airport. Visitors from Seoul also only take about 2 hours by KTX train.
According to Mr. Lee Yong Woo, Jeonbuk has many experiences suitable for young tourists who love traditional Korean culture such as trying to make bibimbap in an ancient house, making traditional paper, learning taekwondo, meditating, healing with health care therapies...
