According to the leader of the Department of Tourism, before the Covid-19 epidemic, the Guangzhou - Cam Ranh flight route was exploited very effectively, however, the flight route has been interrupted for more than 3 years due to the impact of the epidemic. Also due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic and economic difficulties, in recent times, although it has been reopened, the number of Chinese tourists to Khanh Hoa is still not as expected. Currently, Vietnamese and international airlines have only organized charter flights to bring tourists from China to Khanh Hoa, but no airline has restored regular flights. China Southern Airlines' restoration of the Guangzhou - Cam Ranh regular flight route will contribute to attracting international visitors in general and Chinese tourists to Khanh Hoa in the last months of 2023.
