The 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival 2024 opened on November 1 at Trinh Hoai Duc Gymnasium.

On November 1, nearly 400 athletes from the Vietnam Journalists Association , Journalists Associations of provinces and cities, central press agencies, ministries and branches began competing at the 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival in 2024.

In his opening speech, Mr. To Quang Phan - Chairman of the Hanoi Journalists Association emphasized: Implementing the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", over the past 29 years, the Hanoi Journalists Association has maintained the organization of the Health Festival with the desire to create a playground for exercise, improve the health and spirit of members, officers and employees of press management agencies and press agencies.

Nearly 400 athletes competed in 6 events at the Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival 2024.

After the opening ceremony, athletes in some events such as tug of war and table tennis began competing. The athletes participated in 6 events.

6 sports, including football, table tennis, badminton, tug of war, walking, and chess. Of which, football is the earliest sport of the Health Festival.

Journalists and reporters tried their best on the afternoon of November 1.

The Health Festival is an activity of the press community in the capital, contributing to the emulation movement "Building a cultural environment in press agencies and the culture of Vietnamese journalists".

The 29th Hanoi Journalists Association Sports Festival 2024 will close on the afternoon of November 2.
